  1. Tires are the most important parts of your bike. Check the surface of the tire and check their pressure with a good gauge. Add a proper amount of air each time and know how to detect a slow leak.
  2. Make sure that your brake light, headlights, and turn signals work. Don’t forget to adjust your mirrors and check the controls. Moreover, check the oil, fuel, and the coolant levels.
  3. Make sure that the bike’s chain is properly tensioned if your motorcycle has chain drive to the rear wheel. Chains need cleaning and lubrication.
  4. Make sure the centre stand and side stand fold up and stay up properly. If one of your bike’s retraction springs is weak or broken, replace it.
  5. Always check your brakes as you roll off.
  6. Bring a tool kit along when you go for a ride. Take a gear bag with you to store tools, your bike’s manual, and other necessities.

Set a regular service schedule for your motorcycle. Refer to your manual to help you understand and maintain the motorcycle. Moreover, don’t forget to wear proper motorcycle gear to make the ride safe and enjoyable.
